How I failed the 7 day challenge

So if you have been following along with me as I followed Roxy Mews, you have already guessed my 7 day challenge ended on day 5.

I already know that one of my biggest issues is my lack of adaptability. I don't like change most of the time. I like order and predictability in my day to day routine. Life however likes to make that seldom happen.

Like when Momma Bear, as I like to call my mom, calls me because she's gotten her tractor stuck I load up my Little Monster (and that name describes my son well) and we go pull her out.

Except for that one time in the photo. She was too stuck for us and we called in reinforcements. I honestly thought this was going to be a record breaking year of my mom not getting stuck at all. Before my dad passed away she got stuck a lot more because he was on the farm to help pull her out. Since then she has gotten better about not pushing her luck.

I honestly thought this was going to be a record breaking year of my mom not getting stuck at all. Before my dad passed away she got stuck a lot more because he was on the farm to help pull her out. Since then she has gotten better about not pushing her luck. So with mowing seasoning getting towards the end I thought Little Monster was going to miss out on a tradition that has been happening since I was his age.

Then boom, two (dry) days in a row we got called in. But of course after Momma Bear gets pulled out there has got to be a little play time.

Which easily eats away the day. But honestly I wouldn't change it for anything.

I know these days are numbered. Eventually the farm won't be under Momma Bear's care, my Little Monster is going to grow up and start his own life, having his own adventures.

So I can't be too upset over losing time I would be using to do my authorly things.
